Stepping Stones Annual Art Auction |
|
This is the day the Stepping Stones parents all get together to bid for wonderful, unique original art pieces. There are watercolours, oils, chalks and mixed media pieces - each and every one a collectable. The highlight of the evening is when the bidding opens on the Children's Art pieces.
Each year the children created stunning glazed platters and a large class project. Each child has also created their own unique personal piece of art for you to treasure for years to come.
Do not miss out on this once-in-a-year opportunity to get an original piece of art. Funds raised will be allocated to current PTA projects and our Community partnership projects. The Art Auction takes place on 02 November 2011 at 18h30 for 19h00. In 2012 the Art auction is scheduled to take place on 31 October 2012 at 18h30 for 19h00.

Sports Day and Beetle Derby |
|
Stepping Stones will hold its annual Sports Day and Beetle Derby on Saturday 21st July 2012 at the Sandton Sports Club.We anticipate a good turnout on the day. Everyone always thoroughly enjoys themselves and talks about it fondly over the balance of the year .
Please make sure that you diarise this date and that you start training early in the year in preparation for the big event. An alternative sports day of 28th July 2012 should also be reserved in case it rains on 21st July 2012.
There are also parent races, older siblings races and a Dad's Tug-of-War. The children then participate in a big walk - called a Beetle Derby. They collect spots for the ladybird on their hand, for each lap that they manage to succcessfully complete. They each receive a Certificate and a 'Chomp for a champ' medal at the end of the event.
We would love you to join the Stepping Stones family and share in all the fun.
